About me: Christian

My idea was to create a cruise exclusively for men of all ages.

I aimed to blend my passion for leisurely voyages on larger ships with the exclusivity of private yachts, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Dalmatian Coast and the warm hospitality of the Croatian people.

And there you have it: a vacation designed to provide a break from the daily routine, offering a time of relaxation, enjoyment, and camaraderie among like-minded men.

The success of Flamingo Cruise 2022 confirmed that my concept had come to fruition.

So, I invite you to join me in 2024 for the next Flamingo Cruise.

How the Flamingo Cruise was born

Every plan starts with a dream, but the plan for Flamingo Cruise began during a vacation in 2021.

The experience we encountered on the yachts managed and operated by Katarina Line is precisely the kind of experience we aspire to create for you on your Flamingo Cruise.

Through partnering with Katarina Line, we have aligned ourselves with the foremost small ship cruise company in Croatia, a company rooted in family values and operating 60 ships and motor yachts.

The motor yacht operated by Katarina Line is also a family enterprise. Each family conceives, constructs, and manages their own yacht, all with the goal of providing you an unforgettable experience aboard your home for the Flamingo Cruise.

Each yacht is distinctive, and therein lies the charm of the Katarina Line vessels.

Katarina Line, along with the yacht-owning families and Flamingo Cruise, extends a warm welcome to you on board, with a shared commitment to making your journey exceptional.

Advantage of cabins situated upper deck is the balcony to the sea and more fresh air, while cabins on lower deck are sometimes quieter (only fellow passengers who booked lower deck cabins will pass by) and comfortable because they are situated in a sea level which chills cabins naturally. Cabins on the lower deck mostly have little windows (portholes), which cannot be opened.

Passengers on board are obliged to abide by the ship rules, as the captain is responsible for the safety of all passengers and the crew.

    • Passports are to be handed to the captain for registration on the first day of the cruise and will be given back the next day.

    • Jumping or diving from the ship during navigation is strictly forbidden.

    • During rough weather, personal movement should be minimized and done with care, as floors can often be wet and slippery.

    • Passengers should take extra care when crossing between the ships when ships are docked alongside in port. It is advised to ask a crew member for assistance when crossing. Be aware that crossing between ships is at the individual’s responsibility.

    • As ships can sometimes be acoustic, passengers are asked to behave accordingly. Special attention must be given to night peace onboard, which officially starts at midnight and in National Parks night peace is required even earlier, passengers will be notified

    • Passengers are obliged to respect mealtimes, which will be placed on the board in the dining area, as well as departure times from ports.

    • Passengers are responsible for looking after their personal belongings whilst travelling. Katarina Line cannot be held responsible for any personal belongings left behind or damaged irrespective of the circumstances.

    • Any damage must be compensated to the captain by the passenger. Lost cabin keys will be charged 50 €/key.

    • It is strictly forbidden to throw rubbish into the sea.

    • Water is limited onboard, therefore please be very rational with it. The same applies to electricity which runs on the generator.

    • Portholes in lower deck cabins during navigation must be closed to avoid cabins getting wet by the sea water entering the cabin through the porthole.

    • The captain and the crew will be available for any questions or queries and will do their best to make your stay on board a most pleasurable one. After you have unsubscribed from the newsletter distribution list, your email address will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). The storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
